Mike Cale

Simon has been involved with winemaking and viticulture from an early age.  As one of the few second-generation English winemakers, and with over 30 years of experience working on English vineyards & in winemaking, he has plenty of knowledge.

Since 2001, Simon has acted as a consultant to new and existing vineyards and wineries and has overseen well over 50 new vineyard plantings. 

Helen joined the Haygrove Evolution team in January 2023, and enjoys working with our growing and dynamic team in production and within the office.

Helen’s main objective is to build on the existing business and provide a quality service to our valued new and existing contract wine and cider customers.

Mike is our most recent member of the team. With almost 15 years in the drinks trade, Mike holds a strong background in the intricacies of how the industry operates. With strong skills in production planning and operational procedures, Mike ensures that high standards are maintained throughout all operations.

Tracy is a pivotal member of our team, focusing on customer communication, relationships, and administration. She's our logistical representative with grape buyers and also ensures the office operates to its full potential!

Heather has been a part of the Haygrove Evolution team for over 7 years, where she guides the financial side of the business. Heather focuses on the accounts and business development strategy, allowing Haygrove Evolution to move forward.

Itso joined Haygrove Evolution in 2017. He is now an integral member of the wine and cider making team, where he continues to  develop a  depth of technical  knowledge in wine and cider making, and provides a hands on service in production.

Martin Yakovski

Production and Yard Assistant

Martin has been with Haygrove Evolution since 2019 and works as part of the production team to assist in every aspect of the wine and cider making process. He is a much valued member of the team and is a vital support to ensure the Winery functions successfully.
